Sifting through the Collection

Today I spent some time looking through collages from the Collage Museum's collection. Partly I am looking for the collages that will be sellected as the flagship collection - the best 50-100 collages to be framed up and offered for traveling exhibitions. I am also on the look out for collages that will be good examples of college for the book I am working on that will be a studio companion for collage artists. It is interesting to me how I can look at several hundred collages and instantly pick out the ones that I think are the best for framing or for use as illustrations for a book.

I am going to anylize why I think this or that collage is better than others of a similar type and that will be part of the way the book will develop.
